Matalan Lingerie and Swimwear – Matalan Style

Matalan, one of the top ten clothing retailers in the UK, has announced a new range of gorgeous lingerie and swimwear. Known as a quality company with lower prices than High Street, Matalan refers to themselves as “an out of town retailer” where outstanding value and cheaper prices are the keys to their success. With over one hundred and ninety stores, Matalan features clothing for the whole family as well as decor for the home. In addition to their own brands of clothing, they offer designer labels and mainstays from well-known global companies.

Recently, they announced that their new “MATALAN style” line of lingerie and swimwear modelled by Abbey Clancy, the English model, was available in their stores. A quick peek at the promotional material and you can see that this line looks sensational. Bright colours in two piece bikinis with bandeau tops and side string tie bottoms, fabulous embroidered padded bras with matching French knickers in lace, and beautiful beach cover-ups combine to rival any designer lingerie label.

Perusing the website page of pretty bras in fanciful, summer colours, matching mesh, lace or cotton panties, matching camisoles with accent colours and a line of shapers, the selection is sure to please when shopping at one of the stores, as this is only a preview of the total inventory. There is also a good range of sizes to match most body types. I did not find anywhere, however, to order online so it appears that one must shop in the stores. But, the website is a great information piece for customers as it keeps everyone up to date on specials, new promotions and general information about the company.

So confident is Matalan in the fashionable designs of their new lingerie and swimwear collection, they are asking customers to cast their votes for the lines as the retailer has been nominated for the 2008 Comfort Prima High Street Fashion Awards to be announced in September.
