Frederick’s Merges with Movie Star, Inc.
There’s more news from one of America’s biggest lingerie chains. Frederick’s of Hollywood has just merged with Movie Star Inc., and is now working on a grand expansion. While many other US companies are downsizing, the newly merged company is planning to open fifty new stores around the country in the next three years. Plans are also underway to explain the online catalog revenues. Movie Star Inc. was a much smaller company, but a look at their collections reveals that the aesthetic is similar to some of Frederick’s pieces, which may explain why the companies were drawn to each other.
