Phew! Playful Promises is breathing a sigh of relief now the crazy busy trade show period has finally come to an end. After weeks of preparation, getting postcards sent to our customers, and making sure we had all of the samples for our new collection to show off, we started our trade show tour at Top Drawer where our cute satin Zodiac Knickers were ever popular – good to remind everyone when your birthday is coming up! Then came Bread and Butter in Barcelona. Waving designer Louise off with a huge suitcase of samples in one hand, a bag full of prospective outfits for this fashionable affair in the other, and a precariously balanced wire mannequin under her arm was great entertainment for those of us who had the pleasure of watching (and not helping!) This was soon to be followed by Salon International de la Lingerie in Paris, the Harrogate Lingerie and Swimwear Exhibition and finally the Preview Exhibition in Australia!

Top Drawer is also where Playful Promises brand new Beauty range was unveiled to the masses so make sure you keep a look out! We have noticed a trend in Lingerie brands adding beauty and cosmetic ranges to their line. I think this is a natural progression for Playful Promises as we are all about being flirty and dressing up and are aiming to create an ultimate girlie boudoir collection.
