More About SommesChic!

I recently had the pleasure of meeting with up and coming designer, Alicia Wade, about her SommesChic collection (recently mentioned on TLP).Inspired by European elegance, SommesChic offers style and luxury in larger cup sizes.Designed to accent and enhance a woman’s curves, this new line will be a crowd pleaser for sure! It features versatile, figure flattering camis that can double as outerwear and silky, sexy knickers that will make you feel like a million dollars.

I am particularly excited for when the SommesChic swimwear arrives in the stores. I may actually enjoy shopping for a swimsuit when I know that I’ll be able to have impeccable fit and support without sacrificing style.

None of this would be possible without Alicia’s careful attention to detail and fit. She is thoughtful in her designs and considers the many average sized women whose cup sizes reach beyond that of what they can find in the department store. During our conversation, Alicia mentioned how she is inspired by British brands that accommodate a much wider range of DD+ sizes – something that is often neglected here in the U.S. (and I’m sure other places around the world).

I am very excited for SommesChic to arrive in stores worldwide. In the meantime, those of us in New York City and Los Angeles are currently the lucky ones. The collection is now available at Journelle in NYC and Faire Frou Frou in LA. We will keep you posted as new locations are added. Trust me. It will be worth the wait!
