The restaurant, located in the Phillip Street restaurant precinct, has started hiring waitresses to serve patrons in lingerie and bikinis! Stewart Fernandez, who operates the restaurant with his wife Gwen, has his share of disapproval from patrons but continued with the plan. “It will be upbeat and fun rather than sexy and slappy,” he said.

Fernandez said that the plan is not to turn the restaurant into just another strip club. “They will serve drinks and serve food, that’s as far as it goes, that’s it…They are waitresses in lingerie, they don’t provide any other services… Twin Peeks is what we do not want it to be.” Right now this attraction only happens on Friday nights, but with a good response it could become a regular feature of the restaurant.
