Not only does Bendon push the envelope when it comes to designing luxury women’s lingerie, they are also pathsetters when it comes to finding ways to make the shopping experience better for their customers. Bendon launched three new theme stores and the fourth is on its way at the prestigious Lambton Quay shopping area in New Zealand. Not only are the concept stores new to Bendon’s marketing, but the newest store will boast thirty percent more money spent on fitting space room. They have talked to women and found that many women intensely dislike shopping for underwear. Specifically they did not find trying on the garments to be a positive experience. Thus, Bendon decided to take a hesitant leap and build larger fitting rooms and add an anteroom where women can touch up their makeup and fix their attire before leaving the store.

In addition to the added fitting room space, the newest concept store will be called Asian Exotic. In keeping with the oriental flavour, the store will have a Japanese Tea area where companions of the women shopping and the women themselves may sit and relax.
