Do It Yourself Tights
One of the niftiest ideas that I have seen in a long time is dyeing leggings or tights. And while many cost conscious fashion lovers have been doing this for ages, it seems the fad has hit the runways. Models are wearing Christian Lacroix’s Ombré tights in a gradient of colours. The bottom of the stocking is darker than the top and around the knee, the colour begins to fade to white.
I see some ladies are getting even more inventive going to the local department store and buying less expensive tights and using a Sharpie marker to draw on homemade designs of their choosing. When finished, these elaborately decorated tights look like ridiculously expensive bought leggings and would fool even the most experienced connoisseur of fine lingerie.
So if you are tired of your ho-hum run of the mill plain-Jane tights, get your creative juices flowing and use your imagination to conjure up a beautiful fashion statement sure to intrigue.
