Sob! Well, isn't this just the way! For years i ignored the comments on how tacky it is to have a VPL showing. Then finally a few months ago I found some panties at JCPenney that I just love, are very comfortable, are slightly shaping, pretty, modestly priced and show no VPL...and are now discontinued! Does anyone know of a product similar Penney's Ambrielle Shaping Lace Short?

At 47 years of age I have tried many different makes of bras and absolutely none of them came close to being as utterly uncomfortable as Ambrielle bras. Not only do they itch...they leave scars on the ribs and shoulders. They are more like an ancient form of torture. Can't believe I paid good money for them. Worn each one once and plan to throw them in the trash. Almost like they are NOT designed to complement the female physique. Only a male could have designed and engineered something so painful and ill-fitting, seriously.

Oh my gosh....I can't believe there are other people looking for the same thing. Mine are in SUCH horrible shape, but I cannot bring myself to get rid of them. I have tried many other brands and do not like them. They were perfect.

Add another one to the list looking for #93677. I wonder how we find out what other # fits the same way or if anyone has any new pairs laying around.

I bought 5 pairs of Ambrielle size 6M Panties with tag info that says 94% cotton 6% lycra. The # on the tags are 12-80-785 and 12-80-780 Made in Pakistan RN# 93677 exclusive of trim 73598-5 These underwear are the best fitting underwear that I have ever purchased. I have had these 5 pairs for about a year now and they are ready for the trash but I just can't bring myself to part with them as I have searched everywhere and cannot find these same exact ones. I have bought over 40 different other Ambrielle panties and they don't even come close to the fit of these ones. Would love to see them contract out these same ones again they are just great.

I too like the fit of these bras, but having great difficulty keeping the straps up and am disgusted that after only wearing the bra twice, the underwire poked through. These bras ARE expensive and should hold up better than this! MY much cheaper bras from Walmart hold up better than these did!

The solution to falling straps is to wear the Ambrielle Strapless. I wear them year round.

The problem with these bras is that they are almost "disposable". After one washing (hand wash only) the material is wrinkled and "weird".

The wire has been fine for me. comfortable and stays in place. (36B)

I would never pay full price because this bra does not last. (one to three gentle washings and it is done.)

I too LOVE Ambrielle bras, but also have the difficulty with the straps staying up. To reiterate an earlier post... would love to hear ideas on how to get the straps to stay up.

Even with the strap challenge I continue to wear them because their line is more flattering than any other I have found!
