Sex and the City Lingerie from Cosabella

It seems that every girl’s favorite show used to be Sex and the City. With a the movie release looming in 2008, the four friends are back on our minds. In an effort to be most like their favorite character, women around the world have been drinking cosmopolitans, indulging their hopeless romantic side, and buying expensive shoes. Now you can take it one step further! Cosabella provided some of the pretty lingerie that Carrie and Charlotte wore on the series (including their Soire thong), and has just recently announced a new deal to produce Sex and the City branded lingerie. The first of the two capsule collections will hit US stores next April (perhaps so everyone can get their set to wear to the premier?). The second will coincide with the DVD release.

Predictably, these collections will feature four groups based on the show’s characters – Carrie, Charlotte, Samantha, and Miranda. Guido Campello, vice president of marketing and innovation at Cosabella, says, “The concept is ‘What kind of woman are you?”

I’m predicting quirky and fun pieces for the Carrie line, sensible basics with tiny frills for Miranda, lots of pastels and lace for Charlotte, and fiery red or leopard print for Samantha. There are no pictures of the line available yet, but we’ll be sure to update you as soon as we see them!
