I am a huge fan of Forever New, the popular lingerie detergent for cleaning your delicate items. I mentioned this a few months ago (actually, my first article for The Lingerie Post!) It’s the only detergent I’ll use on my lingerie – it is specially formulated to restore spandex while delicately cleaning lacey and delicate fabrics.

We just got word from Forever New that they have redesigned the package of their “For a Friend” gift box. The 17” x 17” bag can hold two large bras and is even roomy enough to accommodate a sweater (because we all do need to wear clothes over our pretty bras sometimes!)

This would definitely be a great gift at a bridal shower or bachelorette party, where your friend will be receiving loads of new delicate items! The lingerie bag would be especially handy in her newlywed days, when she’ll have a lot of pretty things and not much time to wash them! Of course it’s also a great present to give yourself, too.
