Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style features La Petite Coquette

Want to see the inside of my favorite New York City boutique, La Petite Coquette? Well, tune in to Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style on Bravo and see the legendary store and the one and only Rebecca Aspan giving advice to the makeover recipient. This occurs as a result of what I find to be the most interesting part of the show. Tim Gunn’s assistant, the lovely model, Veronica Webb, announces, much to the chagrin of the guest, that she will be inspecting her underwear drawer! (I know we lingerie fanatics here would have no problem with that, but to anyone else, I’m sure it’s frightening.) Clearly, they understand how important that what goes on under the clothes is just as important as the clothes!

When she arrives at the shop, she tries on a number of bras and receives one of the best bra fitting tips ever. When you try on a bra, make sure it fits well using the last hook. As your bras become well worn, this will allow you to lengthen the life by having the option to tighten the fit with the next hook. Thanks Rebecca!
