Jaw-dropping Playful Promises

Oh my goodness! I see a lot of lingerie every day. I look at hundreds of photo’s, visit loads of boutiques and there’s a good chance my knickersdrawer contains more pieces than yours. Every once in a while I find something new that makes me 100% sure I have to get it as soon as possible. Some women can fall in love with shoes, I can fall in love with a bra or a corset.

Today is one of those joyful days: I just discovered Playful Promises.

The brand, founded by Emma Parker in 2004, isn’t the most famous when it comes name recognition, but I can tell you now (and you’ll be convinced at the end of this article), it should be. As from now on, I’m going to do my best to change that. Everyone into lingerie should know about Playful Promises.

Alice’s Party, their latest collection, is absolutely stunning. The signature knickers, ribbon-decorated corsets and balconnettes, basques and thongs are all close to perfection. Yes, there, I’ve said it, perfection.

Their website is just as pretty. The photo’s (by James Lightbown) are beautiful, the models look beautiful, … it’s all beautiful.

I’m sorry, I can’t say anything bad. Nothing. I’m giving Playful Promises an A+ A++. Keep it coming, Emma, you just got yourself a new fan!

I love the “ruched” edge of the panties. I looked at the website, and Boo- I don’t have a retailer near me. Hopefully I can get some online, though!

It’s just the cutest range of lingerie! I love the Star Sign panties - you can’t believe no one’s done that before - it’s so super cute… And their little garter skirts also kick %$$.
