Marlies Dekkers Dutch Business Woman 2007

Dutch lingerie designer Marlies Dekkers had a good night yesterday. In The Hague’s hotel Des Indes, she received the prestigious “Dutch Business Woman of the Year” award for 2007, the Dutch Algemeen Dagblad reports.

According to the AD, Marlies wasn’t at all surprised after receiving the Prix Veuve Clicquot. She feels she’s conquering the world with her sexually charged lingerie, swim wear and fashion accessories.

The award, a bottle of high class champaign, probably didn’t make it through the evening… The succesful designer also had a message for the people in The Hague: “Don’t just dream it, be it!”.
