Is Woolite bad for Lingerie?

I was quite surprised to read this post at The Beauty Brains earlier on today. I didn’t know this was such a common misunderstanding. No, Woolite isn’t dangerous when used as a lingerie-washer, TBB concludes:

“Woolite (or any other) mild detergent is fine for hand washing lingerie. You don’t need to spend a lot more money on speciality cleansers. If any of our readers are in the lingerie business, please drop us a line and let us know what you recommend.”

Oh, I’m more than happy to give you the other side of the story… Quite a few people swear by avoiding Woolite when washing their precious lingerie… If you readers have a good reason for this, let me know, I’m more than willing to adjust my view on this !
